A Look at the Original Uwell Crown Pod Kit
Before Crown B and Crown D arrived, Uwell made a smaller refillable device whose heating element stays sealed inside its cartridge. The Uwell Crown Pod Kit is that original Crown model. It uses a rechargeable body and removable pods, not the replaceable PA coils found in newer Crown kits.
Airflow Adjustment Lives on the Cartridge
Look along the side of a Crown cartridge and you will find a small airflow slider. Moving it changes the amount of air entering the pod. It stays with the cartridge when you lift the pod out of the battery body.
The slider alters the draw, not the electrical output or liquid compatibility.
Why the Whole Pod Is the Spare Part
The original Crown's coil is built into the plastic cartridge. You cannot pull out a separate heating head and fit a replacement coil. When the internal coil wears out, the complete Crown pod is changed.
The cartridge attaches magnetically. Crown B, Crown D and Caliburn pods are different. Check the original model and resistance when matching replacements.
Uwell Crown Colours and Seller Selection
The original device was produced in Black, Grey, Blue and Red, according to contemporary product documentation. Colours do not change the electronics.

Reading Battery Lights and Output
The fire-button light uses green, blue and red to indicate falling battery charge. These colours are a guide, not a wattage read-out. The device chooses output according to its pod and remaining power; there is no dial for selecting 10W, 15W or 25W.
Button and inhale activation both work. The battery is not removable.
Refilling Through the Crown Mouthpiece
The filling opening is underneath the removable mouthpiece cap. Remove the cap, identify the liquid opening and avoid pouring liquid into the nearby air channel. Close the cap and let the new wick soak.
The tinted viewing window is small. Avoid using an empty or damaged pod.
Choosing Between the Two Original Crown Pods
1.0Ω cartridge: the lower-power option, associated with a tighter mouth-to-lung draw and around 10–15W operation. A 50/50 VG/PG bottle is one liquid format to assess for this lower-power cartridge; assess nicotine strength separately.
0.6Ω cartridge: the higher-output option, associated with a more open restricted-lung draw and around 18–25W operation. Do not assume a high-strength nicotine salt chosen for the 1.0Ω pod is appropriate here.
The Uwell Caliburn G2 kit uses different cartridges, not Crown replacements.

Do original Crown pods arrive with e-liquid inside?
No. These are refillable cartridges. A compatible bottled liquid is needed separately.
Can I reuse the original Crown cartridge after refilling?
Yes, while its sealed coil and housing remain in good condition. Replace the whole cartridge if the coil becomes worn or the seal is damaged.
Will a Crown B or Crown D replacement fit the 2020 Crown?
No. Those later devices have different cartridge and coil systems. Match the original Crown pod precisely.
Why is the e-liquid window difficult to see?
The original cartridge uses tinted plastic and a small viewing area. Check the level carefully rather than assuming the pod is full.
Can a 3ml international Crown pod be treated as the UK 2ml version?
No. The volumes differ. Verify the specific GB 2ml SKU and applicable product notification before supply.
