Voopoo Seal: IP66 Protection
The Voopoo Seal Pod Kit has a liquid-silicone outer body and an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance. IP66 describes protection tested against dust and strong water jets. It does not make the kit suitable for submersion, and the charging port should be dry before a cable is connected.
Under the coating sits a 1200mAh rechargeable battery and an adjustable 5–40W device. The Seal measures 100 × 26 × 26mm and weighs about 72g. It uses a removable pod, rather than a sealed cartridge that must be thrown away when its coil reaches the end of its life.
The 2ml PnP Pod
The supplied PnP MTL pod holds 2ml of e-liquid. MTL stands for mouth-to-lung: vapour enters the mouth first, then the lungs. The pod attaches magnetically and uses a separate, push-fit coil.
To fill it, remove the pod, open the rubber seal underneath and add e-liquid through the fill port. Close the seal firmly, then put the pod back. With a new coil, leave the filled pod for three to five minutes before use so the wick can absorb the liquid.
If the cartridge is damaged or worn, check the 2ml PnP MTL replacement pod. The replacement listing names Drag S and Drag X, while VOOPOO confirms this PnP MTL pod type for the Seal. Check the product photograph and pod type before ordering.
PnP Coils and Wattage
Two coil resistances are listed in the Seal's standard kit. They have different power ranges, so the setting should match the coil installed:
- PnP-TR1, 1.2Ω: 10–15W, a regular coil for a tighter MTL draw.
- PnP-TM2, 0.8Ω: 12–18W, a mesh coil for MTL use.
VOOPOO also documents original PnP coils of 0.3Ω and above for the device. That does not mean every coil should run at 40W. Read the stated wattage range on each coil. The VOOPOO replacement coil includes different coil families, so match the exact PnP model rather than relying on the brand name alone.
Power, Screen and Charging
The Seal has a 0.54-inch OLED screen. It shows power settings and the puff counter, while the GENE chip controls the output. You can use the firing button or select the automatic mode. VOOPOO says three button presses switch the operating mode.
Its USB-C port charges the built-in battery, so no separate battery cell is needed. The power range is adjustable from 5W to 40W, but coil limits still apply. If the device or charging port becomes wet, dry it fully before charging.
What's in the Kit?
VOOPOO lists the following items in the standard and UK TPD pack:
- One Seal device and one 2ml PnP MTL pod
- One 1.2Ω PnP-TR1 coil and one 0.8Ω PnP-TM2 coil
- Two silicone pod covers: one for the 2ml MTL pod and one for an optional larger PnP pod
- One USB-C cable and one user manual
The larger PnP pod itself is not listed as an included item. Check the sealed box against this list when stock arrives, especially if the supplier has changed the packaging version.
Seal Colours and Orders

Voopoo Seal FAQs
Does the Seal work without pressing the fire button?
Yes. It supports automatic and manual activation modes. The mode can be changed using the device controls.
Do I replace the whole pod when a coil wears out?
No. The PnP system uses a removable coil. Replace the coil when needed; change the pod only when its housing or seals need replacement.
Can I fit a PnP-X pod?
Do not assume so. The Seal is documented for the original PnP platform. PnP-X is a separate product line and has not been verified here as a Seal replacement.
Does the V.SUIT use the same type of pod?
Yes. VOOPOO documents the 2ml PnP MTL pod for both Seal and the VOOPOO V.SUIT kit. This does not mean the complete devices have identical housings.
What liquid can I use with the included coils?
Both are intended for MTL use. The 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids section is one place to check blends. Follow the liquid label and coil guidance. Nicotine is addictive. UK sales of nicotine products are restricted to ages 18 and above.
Does the kit need an external battery?
No. Its 1200mAh battery is built in and recharges through USB-C.
