Armour or Leather?
The SMOK Nord 4 Pod Kit comes in two noticeably different body finishes. SMOK lists the Armour version at 115g and the Leather version at 125g. Both measure just under 105mm tall, but the leather-covered body is slightly thicker. If the feel and weight of a device matter, colour alone does not tell the whole story.
Under either finish is the same refillable, button-fired Nord 4 system: a built-in 2000mAh battery, adjustable power up to 80W and support for two separate coil families. This is a configurable pod kit rather than the original fixed-output Nord device.
Turn the Airflow Rings
There is a circular air-inlet control on each side of the Nord 4. Rotate the rings to alter the draw. Opening the airflow can suit a more direct-lung inhale; a narrower setting gives a more restricted draw, depending on the coil fitted.
The rings regulate air, not power. That distinction matters when changing cartridges: a low-wattage coil should not be pushed harder simply to make a restricted draw feel more open. For a smaller-powered SMOK alternative, the SMOK Nord 2 Pod Kit uses its own power and pod arrangement.
Power and Controls
The internal 2000mAh battery feeds an adjustable 5–80W output. Use the up and down buttons to set the wattage and the main button to fire. The OLED display shows operating information, while the indicator and screen help you check the device before use.
SMOK's manual gives two useful button shortcuts:

The charging port is USB-C. Do not try to charge a wet or damaged device. The 80W figure is a hardware limit, not a recommended setting for every Nord 4 coil.
Two Coil Systems
The Nord 4 RPM 2 pod accepts RPM 2 coils. SMOK's standard configuration pairs it with a 0.16Ω mesh coil, rated 25–50W with 40W recommended. Compatible SMOK RPM 2 coils are listed separately; this store currently lists the 0.16Ω mesh variant.
The Nord 4 RPM pod instead takes original RPM coils. SMOK pairs this cartridge with a 0.4Ω mesh coil, typically used around 25W. The SMOK RPM coils page offers matching replacements.
The two cartridges fit the same device, but the coil families do not interchange between them. Neither is a cartridge for original Nord coils. Check the pod name before ordering spares or pressing in a replacement coil.
Refilling the UK Pods
Remove the cartridge and lift its rubber filling plug. Add e-liquid through the filling port, close the plug fully and refit the pod. If a fresh coil has been installed, let the cotton soak before firing. A worn coil can be replaced without discarding an undamaged cartridge.
SMOK's Great Britain notification records include 2ml Nord 4 RPM and RPM 2 pods. The manufacturer's international manual describes larger 4.5ml versions, while UK Vaper's kit listing specifies 2ml. Check the actual cartons before supplying a UK order. The shop's separately listed 4.5ml XL replacement pods should not be treated as compliant 2ml UK spares.
